The schoolgen lead team - What do we do?

We learn about being energy efficient and share it to our community and the school. We meet up every Wednesday and we talk about what is going on in our school.

Why should we have solar panels?

We should have solar panels because if we use solar panels we get energy from the sun which is free. In the long run it will save us a lot of money. Also if we produce some extra energy it will go to the grid and we get some money without having to do anything and the sun does everything.

Where are the Solar Panels?

The solar panels are on the roof of room 10 and room 11 and also room 9.

What does the Inverter do?

The inverter turns the sun's energy (Direct Current) into electricity (Alternating Current)

Who is Maggie?

Maggie is from Genesis Energy. She is the expert on being energy efficient. She is in charge of going to schools and seeing what the school Gen Team are up to.
